The community of animal lovers are abuzz with excitement this week over a new video with Russell the burn survivor kitty. Russell looks healthy and strong as he frolics and plays while waiting for his second eye surgery.
Jackie K., a veterinary student employed at Animal Hospital of Oshkosh made this new video on the amazing Bernice and her recovery from severe burn injuries.
Bernadette was found in a cardboard box left outside of the MSPCA in Boston on March 18. Fortunately, the burns to 60% of her body were not severe, she has responded to treatment, and she is ready to be adopted into a good home.
Embers was one of 14 cats whose Brockton MA home burned last month. Her face was singed, the pads of her feet were burned off, and her future was uncertain. Her friendliness and will to live shone through, she got care, and she is recovering nicely.
Meshach, the sweet Oregon stray burned in December, is healing well and living at a farm sanctuary. Authorities announced the first arrest in the case on Friday, as a 17 year old was charged.
