Craig Grant and his attorney have requested that this Wednesday’s hearing to determine custody of the 691 seized Caboodle Ranch cats be postponed as he seeks a permit to upgrade the facility. Grant’s arraignment on animal cruelty and scheme to defraud charges remains set for tomorrow.
Now that several hundred cats have been removed from the Caboodle Ranch sanctuary, many helping hands from several organizations are pitching in to provide care.
Heavy rains hampered removal of cats from the Caboodle sanctuary yesterday, but crews are back on the scene today. Officials say there were about 700 cats on the property.
