Corky, the world famous special needs kitty from CATS Cradle Shelter, received the Corkymobile, a wheelchair cart from K9 Carts, yesterday. The cart will help Corky to get around and to build muscle strength and help him learn to walk on his own.
Thanks in part to the concern of one family and the generosity of the online community, a special needs cat dropped off at an animal hospital as a tiny kitten got a set of life-changing wheels.
Just days after a remarkable surgery to realign his backwards facing, twisted legs, little Corky stood on all fours for the first time in his life this week. Corky’s recovery has had some complications, but he is coming along well.
