“Some of them were laying so still on their side I was afraid we were going to lose them,” the director of the Southeast Volusia Humane Society, said.
“We saw a cat lying down. We didn’t know what was wrong with it,” said the boy who found the kitten. “We saw the feet. There was nothing there but bones.”
“She was absolutely coated, you couldn’t see any part of her body at all,” Stephen Heaven, Toledo Area Humane Society, shared. “It was just coated in oil.”
