Maya may look a little different, but that is okay for her and her family who love everything about her. She has an extra chromosome, giving her a disorder that is similar to Down Syndrome. Though she sneezes a lot and her vision isn’t great, Maya is proof that every creature, four-legged or two-legged is special, bringing joy to the world.
