Japanese commuters were thrilled to find kittens along for their morning journey to work on September 10.  The Kitten Cafe Sanctuary hopped aboard a Yoro Railway Co Ltd in Ogaki, Japan, in the hopes of raising awareness about stray adoption.

The numbers of Japanese cats admitted to shelters has dropped dramatically, about 70%, over the last ten years, and cat euthanasia has dropped by roughly 80%, according to Reuters.
