Meet the classy cat who stole the show at the 141st Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show press conference. Jungletrax Abiding Ovation, is a 3-year-old Bengal from Maryland.

“There’s so much love out there in the world, why just limit it to dogs and puppies?” said Anthony Hutcherson, the owner and breeder of Jungletrax Abiding Ovation. “She’s the love of my life.”

Jungletrax made her appearance at the press conference at Madison Square Garden introducing new dog breeds. Here’s what AM New York had to say about this ground breaking move to include a cat in the festivities. Both cats and dogs will cats be featured during “Meet and Compete” agility event on Feb. 11, according to a Westminster  press release. (It’s not clear if the cats will perform in the agility event, but we know more than one cat athlete who could give the dogs a run for their money.)

“It makes it interesting,” Gail Miller Bisher, a spokeswoman for the Westminster Kennel Club told AM New York. “It’s a celebration of dogs — and now cats — but it needs to be a little bit of everything for everybody. That’s what we like about it.”
