What nicer way could there be to spend a morning than cuddled up in a big chair or on the sofa, warm cup of coffee or soothing tea, and a lovely book of cat haiku? Or perhaps on your computer screen? Or may write your own. That may be simple enough.
The structure of a haiku, which originated in Japan, is three lines long. The first line contains five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, and the final, third line, is also comprised of five syllables. It is meant to capture a mood or feeling, although typically does not use metaphors or similes.
So grab a pen and paper, computer, paper- or hardback and snuggle in. Sounds like the perfect start to any day to us. Especially it is about cats and a bit cheeky, at that!
