Pet and art lovers are being treated to a unique art installation in Singapore, one designed to encourage interactivity between owners, pets, and art. The exhibit was created for the 1oth anniversary of Wellness Pet Food as a novel way to celebrate their first decade.

Aptly named “PAW-sitive: Interactive Art for Pets by Wellness®”, this first-of-its-kind art exhibition is designed to create a positive art appreciation experience for pets as they make their way through the various art installations. These aim to inspire, stimulate and promote holistic fun through experiential play. They were created by local artists under the guidance of in-house vets and animal behaviourists to ensure interactivity and safety.
“We wanted to use art as a medium for pets and pet parents to engage (with each other), and have a fun and playful time. And with the thriving art scene in Singapore, we also wanted to support local artists,” Esmond Low, managing director of Silversky Ltd, distributor of the pet food, shared with Channel News Asia.
The exhibition features ten installations ranging from yarnbomb artist Kelly Limerick’s cat-centric piece to Adeline Tan’s multimedia work that includes music in a frequency that only dogs can hear.
The exhibition, which is free, but requires reservations, is on display through October 8.
