A rescue cat’s unusual paw has begun to rocket him to internet stardom. Lobstah was found wandering the San Francisco streets at just four months old, but thanks to the San Francisco SPCA, he’s well on his way to a new life.
Lobstah was born with a deformed paw which looks like a claw – one glance at his photos and you’ll see that he’s aptly named. But Lobstah had an additional, more serious issue – he was born without a sternum, meaning that his chest wall was dangerously underdeveloped.
Thanks to talented veterinarians, though, Lobstah underwent surgery and received a chest wall that had been created just for him. He’s now back to being a normal cat, with the exception of his distinctive “claw” paw.
That unique paw has garnered Lobstah some serious attention. He was adopted by his new parents, Leda and John, who have created an Instagram account for the lovable cat. Today Lobstah’s Instagram has over 1,600 followers, and we bet this adorable cat will be gaining many more followers soon.
