A Mama cat who lost her own babies is dubbed “Wonder Mum” after adopting four kittens from three different mothers at Putnry Animal Hospital.

This beautiful black cat who lost her own litter has become a surrogate mum to four kittens at the RSPCA’s Putney Animal Hospital, in London, UK.

Wonder Mum, as she has now affectionately been named, arrived at the hospital with three day-old kittens, who sadly all died within hours of arriving.

When two orphaned kittens were brought in later that day, Wonder Mum immediately showed interest and gladly took them on.

She didn’t stop there, though. A couple of days later another single orphaned kitten arrived – again she accepted him right away.

Then, finally, the hospital had a cat brought in that had to have a caesarean due to birthing complications. The mother was too poorly to care for her surviving kitten and hospital staff were very concerned that he was so weak; but Wonder Mum stepped in and he is now thriving.

Putney Animal Hospital says she is Mum of the Year!
