The video creator writes:

Winston is a kitten who was left abandoned and homeless by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy this past fall. He was adopted by my parents right before Thanksgiving, during the time they were helping with the relief efforts in Long Island. This is a recording of his first day exploring his new home.

Winston is just one of the thousands of animals who were left injured, homeless or abandoned after the storm. There are still many animals who need saving, so if you are interested in adopting one of these storm survivors, please check the North Shore Animal League’s web page devoted to Sandy updates: http://www.animalleague.org/rescue/pet-rescue-programs/emergency-rescue/hurri…

Here’s Winston, a tiny survivor safe in his new home.
