Unconditional love is one of the amazing benefits of having a pet. They are always there for you when you need a friend, a cuddle, someone in whom to confide, or a soft flank to cry on. They are happy to see you when you come home, give you a good laugh now and again, and fall asleep by your side. And some animals can be quite demonstrative when it comes to showing you how they really feel.
