A kitten who got stuck in a wheelie bin drain was eventually freed, but not before she got her picture taken in what could be her most embarrassing moment.
“When I arrived, I saw the head of the kitten poking out from this bin — it was so unusual and I have never seen anything like it before,” RSPCA inspector Steve Morrall said in a press release. “It is very likely she was looking for food in the bin, but panicked when the bin was being emptied and got herself stuck.”
The RSPCA of London called for help and got it from the West Midlands Fire Service. The kitten was freed using a combination of a plastic collar and lubricant. Morrall said it’s not known if the kitten has an owner, but she’s now being cared for by the nice people at the RSPCA. She’s healthy and will soon be available for adoption.
