An Agawam, MA family is truly all together again this Christmas. The Gomez family was reunited with their missing cat on the same day Carlos Gomez returned home on military leave.
Patter, the family cat, escaped through an open door three months ago and had not been seen by his family again until the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society tracked them down with help from the Agawam Police Department. Patter was recently found and brought to the humane society. A microchip scan identified him, but did not provide a current phone number. The police were able to locate the family.
“I couldn’t believe it. I just couldn’t,” said AnnMarie Gomez. “I was freaking out on the phone and my daughter was like what are you talking about!”
Carlos Gomez said, , “It was great. I just got back on leave today and so my first day back here I get reunited with my cat that I lost.”
