Smurf and Wanda continue to improve as Smurf grows out gray and gains weight. The two kittens are inseparable and are being fostered by one of the veterinarians who work at the Nine Lives Foundation shelter where Smurf was treated for life-threatening bite wounds after he was dyed purple and used as a chew toy. His story was reported around the world. This kitten’s progress has been wonderful and his future is bright, thanks to the caring people at the Nine Lives Foundation.
