A lingerie company in Florida has begun fostering local shelter cats in hopes of finding them homes. The company, Mapale by Espiral, began fostering cats through the Humane Society of Broward County’s Office Cat program. To date, one cat fostered by the lingerie company has already been adopted!

The Office Cat program allows local businesses to foster shelter cats to help expose them to the public. Customers who go into businesses have a chance to meet the cats, and can even adopt them if they make a connection with a particular cat. The effort helps to expose the cats to people who might not otherwise have walked into a shelter, with the hopes of increasing awareness and adoption.

When Mapale by Espiral first began participating in the program, they wanted to have a cat for company around the office. But then one cat became two, and now that one cat has been adopted, another shelter cat is on its way to the lingerie store.

Who’d have ever imagined that lingerie and cat adoption would go together, but in this case, it seems to be the perfect match.
