Firefighters and paramedics responding to a two alarm fire in North Andover, MA last week brought the unconscious cat from the house and revived her on site with a pet oxygen mask.

Mittens and his petdad Phil Long leaving the scene

.Mittens was not breathing when firefighters removed her from the smoky interior of his burning two-family home one night last week. She was revived by paramedics with a pet oxygen mask and was able to leave with his owner shortly afterward. Phil Long then rushed his beloved cat to  Bulger Veterinary Hospital for a followup examination and care.  Sadly, another cat did not survive.
