Chicago firefighters responding to a call went to the 21st floor of a building in the 1100 Block of North Dearborn on Monday afternoon, where they found 5 year old black longhaired cat Puffy unresponsive in a smoke filled room. They rushed the cat down the ground level, where he was revived with a pet oxygen mask a waiting ambulance had on hand. Puffy was reunited with his owner and is expected to make a good recovery. Firefighters say the cat was able to withstand the thick smoke because he remained low to the ground.
