You may remember Pudding the cat from the widespread media attention his story got last winter. Our version, Pudding the Hero Saves his New Petmom’s Life, was perhaps the first telling after a local newspaper item.
Amy Jung adopted Pudding and his long time sibling Wimsy on a visit to the Door County Humane Society, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on February 8. That same night, Pudding saved Amy’s life when she went into a diabetic seizure. Pudding jumped on Amy’s son Ethan’s chest until he woke up and got help for his Mom. Pudding is now Amy’s registered therapy cat, and he goes to work with her every day.
Here is Pudding’s story, told by Amy and by Carrie Counihan, Rescue Ambassador from the shelter. Pudding, along with, Bogey, whose story we shared yesterday, is a finalist in the Pro Plan® Rally to Rescue® Tales of Greatness Contest, celebrating the great things that rescued pets can become. Each entrant is truly deserving of the win.
