A sad eyed flame point Himalayan cat named Ghost is in the news today after a series of photos posted to Reddit showed him at the door as his petparent left for work.
Redditor Jess Klas, whose username there is jesklash, captioned the 3 photo set, in which Ghost looks upward with his big blue eyes and even puts a paw on the door, “It has never been harder to leave my apartment.”
The I’m-so-sad-you’re-going-how-can-you-leave-me-like-this series of pics are captioned: Stage 1: Wait by door, Stage 2: Hold door open, Stage 3: Make humans weep.
Ghost is now being called the saddest cat as the photos go viral and make the news.
Jess has posted a number of pics with Ghost to her account, and he’s absolutely adorable and expressive in all of them.
In a response to a since-deleted comment on the viral set, Jess wrote: “He’s my world. In a really embarrassing and much-too-personal-for-reddit way he’s really helped with my depression and anxiety. He’s a great little cat.” 🙂
