A Pennsylvania shelter has started a new program for US Military veterans. Service members and veterans will have their adoption fees waived and can benefit from several other perks.

Western Pennsylvania has both a large population of US Military veterans and homeless shelter pets. A new program at the Western PA Humane Society, with branches in Pittsburgh and Elizabeth, will match vets and pets, and will provide cost free adoptions and other benefits.
