Kimberly Best wrote us, saying: “My cat’s shedding on clothes and furniture was so exasperating that I embarked upon a quest to see if his fur could be made into something useful, like yarn. I created this short video to document the outcome of my quest. It turns out that, in the proper hands, cat fur can be spun, knit and woven. And, surprisingly, it can even spark romance.”
Kimberly brought her cat’s fur to Carol Feldman, who spun it into a wool blend yarn that was knitted into a token of love.
Carol and her husband Jerry Feldman were brought together romantically after Carol used some of Jerry’s cat’s fur to make decorative pillows for him.
