NYC rescue organization All Sentient Beings rescued Mac, an injured kitty, from the notoriously high-kill ACC. Mac had fractures to his pelvis and a hind leg; he is thought to have been hit by a car. All Sentient Beings got Mac a needed amputation surgery and cared for him during a three months recovery.
After his recovery period, Mac found the perfect home, where he is not only accepted; he provides support and encouragement to a child.
See Mac’s touching and uplifting story below.

In that post, we ride along as cat lover Adrienne Gonzalez tells the story of her trip from Richmond, VA to NYC to rescue two cats saved from the Brooklyn ACC facility on November 6. All Sentient Beings pulled the cats for her, in accordance with NYC ACC practices.
