The HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) made this 16 minute video to educate communities and the public on the feral cat issue, and to highlight a selection of TNR and colony management success stories.
HSUS outlines the feral cat issue and makes the case for TNR and humane colony management. The organization lauds individual efforts to help and care for the cats but contends that it’s time for communities to commit themselves to humane and effective management of the millions of feral cats in the US today.
The video will be an excellent presentation resource for those bringing the matter to their town, city, and state governments.
Featured humane feral cat management efforts include those of the Merrimack Valley Feline Rescue Society which helps feral cats in New England, along with other agencies and groups.
