Last Sunday when we posted the story of of a Canadian cat’s run for office, with Tuxedo Stan Runs for Mayor of Halifax to Raise Awareness on Cat Issues, we were unable to include the CTV report on the campaign. CNN has since picked up the video, so we can share it with you now.
Stan’s campaign has gotten an official campaign song, Life Gets Better, which can be downloaded for 99 cents by clicking the link in the title. Purchase the song before October 20, 2012 and proceeds will go to Spay Day Nova Scotia. You can listen to the complete song for free by clicking the link HERE and selecting it from the playlist.
For more on Tuxedo Stan’s campaign, visit the Tuxedo Party Facebook page, which has a great new banner photo. The page has worked actively for the campaign’s cause since early June of this year. The campaign is, of course, also active on twitter.
An update at the campaign’s Facebook page today says:
“Today I have a message for all the homeless, hungry and downtrodden cats in Halifax Regional Municipality – Life Gets Better. At least I’m going to work full time to help make it better for you. You can listen to my official Campaign song “Life Gets Better” at http://donamero.com/
You can purchase it for $0.99 – if you buy it between now and October 20 the proceeds are donated to my favourite charity, Spay Day HRM. Great music for a great cause!”
