Bullies have a thing or two coming when Smudge is around. In short, don’t mess with his family.
Ethan and his younger brother, two-year-old Ashton, were playing soccer in the front yard when Mom, Sarah, saw three bigger boys approach the front gate. The older boys began shouting at Ethan, finally pushing him the five-year-old down.
Sarah ran outside, then to her surprise, saw Smudge running out from under a car and landing square on the chest of one of the boys.
“I think it was shock more than anything,” Sarah told the Mirror, “but the boy stumbled backwards, burst into tears, and then ran off.”
Since that time, Smudge, who had been adopted after their first cat passed away after just 18 months, has been sitting outside of Ethan’s door. Seems someone has a real-life super hero watching out for him.
Kids today are vindictive. Please keep this kitty safe inside.
