Lt. Bobby Mosteller took home a small kitten that was party to a stolen car and high speed chase, a surprise to officers when they checked the car following the arrest of the two teen-aged girls.

According to the City of Morrow Police Department Facebook page, “Anessa Wright and Jordan Tabron, both 19 years old, were placed in custody and ended a dangerous, multi-jurisdictional, pursuit. The small kitten was rescued from what had to the most harrowing experience of it’s young life. Neither suspect had the decency to claim ownership of the cat, so Lt. Mosteller provided a welcome spot to rest in wait for a permanent placement.”
