As reported in full in the Fayetteville Observer, Carra Asbridge found little Tigger when she searched near the site of her father’s fatal car crash and will give the 3 month old kitten a home.
William Glass died when his car left the road, struck two trees and overturned en route from Charlotte, NC to Fayetteville on Tuesday. Daughter Carra traveled from Memphis, TN for the funeral and discovered cat food, litter and toys in the trunk of her father’s car. Carra searched the area of the crash site, near Raeford, and found the kitten snuggled in items of William’s clothing along the roadside. William was a lifelong cat lover who had fallen in love with Tigger, adopted her, and was bringing her home. To honor her father’s memory and his love for animals, Carra will keepTigger and give her a home.

I’m so sorry to hear about your dad, but he is looking down on you, smiling. Thank you for giving Tigger a loving home. God bless you. <3
My sympathies on the loss of your father, but how wonderful that you respond with so much love for Tigger. Your father must have been a very fine man, indeed.
Most sincere sympathy on the loss of your father. How very sad, especially when he was looking forward to enjoying his new little friend, Tigger. How wonderful of you to search for her and delighted you found her and are going to keep her. Wishing you both the very best of wishes for a happy life together.
Surely her father is smiling down from heaven, knowing his kitten will have a good home with his daughter. May the poor man RIP.
