Thanks to some quick-thinking rescuers, a tiny kitten has survived quite the ordeal. The kitten was discovered in the St. Lucie River in Florida, where it was clinging to some oysters which were attached to a bridge piling. The kitten was tired and struggling to hold on when the Martin County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the incident.

The marine unit quickly headed out to the location described, where deputies pulled the kitten into the boat. Though tired, the kitten made himself right at home. There is no word yet about whether the kitten will be available for adoption.
