A 5 week old kitten who traveled from Phoenix, AZ to Newhall, CA trapped in a car’s bumper was rescued by mechanics and found a home with a family whose cat recently passed away.

The kitten managed to make the long trip, unhappily but unscathed, and was released from the bumper by compassionate staff at an auto repair shop. The family who has adopted Phoenix feels that there’s a special meaning in her coming into their lives when and how she did.
