What better way to propose than to enlist the help of an adorable kitten that you and your girlfriend are adopting?
Kat Woodley thought she was being filmed for an adoption video at the SPCA in Erie County, New York according to a news report on Fox 25 WFXT. So she was more than a little surprised when the SPCA staff told her to check the kitten’s tag, which read, “Will You Marry Me?” At the same moment, her boyfriend, Jerad Forsyth, suddenly appeared and made his proposal on bended knee.
Forsyth met girlfriend Woodley on a blind date on Thanksgiving Day 2014 and decided to propose two years later, the day before Thanksgiving. The SPCA posted a video of the touching exchange on its Facebook page.
Kat and Jared named the kitten, Gandalf, and he is reportedly doing well in his new home with the happy couple.
