Jacksonville Firefighters Rescue Kitten Trapped in Sewer

Kitten and family share an emotional reunion after the rescue of the little cat who’d been stuck below ground in a sewer for over 24 hours. Jacksonville Firefighters Station 21 captured the rescue on video.

Earlier this month, the Jacksonville Florida Fire and Rescue Hazardous Materials crew come to the rescue of a tiny kitten who’d been trapped down in the sewer for over a day. The stranded kitten’s concerned family stayed closeby as a crew member climbed down to make the save.

  2. You know, it’s so NICE to see these big, burly, uber-macho guys coming to the rescue of these fur-babies! Makes my heart warm and fuzzy!

    And, yes, I certainly HOPE they’ll keep that baby IN THE HOUSE!
