While many may have questions about the choices they have to make in the forthcoming elections, these particular PAWlititions mutually agree on most important issues that are pressing for those currently in shelters and rescues waiting for their forever homes. Currently orphan candiPETS are getting out on the campaign trail with shaking paws and wagging tails to share their collective platform of the promise of unconditional love in every forever home.
The following press release just came out from the Helen Woodward Animal Center:
Rancho Santa Fe, CA (Oct. 19, 2016) – While millions tune-in nationwide to watch the debate between candidates hoping to become president this evening, the competition heating up at Helen Woodward Animal Center is a different animal all together. Candidates from both the “DemiCATic” and “RePUPlican” parties are squaring off, hoping to become the next resident of a forever home.
Candidates from both parties have had their share of scandals and been accused of chasing their tail on key issues. While the DemiCATic candidate has been accused of calling her own supporters a “basket of adorables,” RePUPlican rallies have been interrupted by cheers of “Throw the ball”.
Recent polls indicating that American voters are hopelessly in love with furry faces has given both parties hope that they can unite under the “spots and stripes” and find homes for all the deserving pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center. The candidates have been seen hitting the campaign trail with all four legs, shaking paws, licking babies and reiterating their shared policy of unconditional love. While the Center won’t be accepting ballots, adopters can cast their vote every day of the week in the form of an adoption application.
“Deciding which orphan pet is right for you is a vote that saves a life,” said Helen Woodward Animal Services Director Ed Farrelly. “Helen Woodward Animal Center has a huge number of kittens, puppies, cats and dogs that are all hoping you’ll take a look at their qualifications and give them your support. This might be the one vote that’s guaranteed to give you the warm fuzzies this year.”
