If you’ll be in New Jersey this weekend, then the 2016 Cat Expo will be the place to be. This year marks the 80th Annual Garden State Cat Club Show & Expo, which is held at the Garden State Exposition Center.
If you love cats, then you’re sure to find plenty of entertainment at this expo. There are plenty of opportunities to watch cats compete in events including a beauty contest and a timed obstacle course. You’ll rub elbows with breeders and can buy a purebred cat, or adopt one of the 100 adoptable cats that will be at the event.
Don’t forget to head to the Meow Mall where you can shop for cat-related items including jewelry, art, cat supplies, and more. And be sure to also bring a picture with your cat to the event so you can have a cat caricature drawn. Then, stop by one of the many seminars which will cover topics such as pet CPR, grooming, and even emergency pet evacuation.
