They heard high-pitched crying coming from the bushes and, upon checking, found four tiny kittens, seemingly alone and abandoned. Their eyes still closed, the kittens were crawling all over the place, so Nikki, Jordan, and Justin put them back into their nest and waited for the mom’s return. After a lengthy period, according to Pawsitive, Nikki ran home to tell her Mom and came back with a towel-lined box to collect the kittens.
Nikki’s Mom called Cheri at Cats at the Studios desperate for help. Within an hour of the call, Cheri had organized a pick-up for the kittens, overnight foster care, and a drop-off for the tiny trio. Unfortunately, one of the siblings did not make it.
The good news is the remaining three kittens went onto be healthy and were adopted, thanks to the care and concern of three children, Nikki’s Mom’s quick thinking, and Cats in the Studios network and volunteers.
