Ten Lauderhill, FL firefighters teamed up with deputies from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday to rescue a tiny orange and white kitten that had been trapped behind a wall for at least 3 days.
Albertha Peterson said “Here’s the kitten, and I know she’s hungry and tired and ready to get back to her mom,” after rescuers freed the kitty from the wall in her sister’s home.
“They did everything they can to try and get the cat out,” said Peterson. “Finally they had to call someone with a camera, so they can actually see the kitten.”
“It took two agencies and approximately 10 firefighters to get this kitten from the wall,” said Lauderhill Fire Lieutenant Jerry Gonzalez.
