This poor little baby was hopelessly stuck in a dumpster drain pipe until firefighters used olive oil to extract him.
The Metropolitan Fire Brigade in Melbourne, Australia was called by the RSPCA after its rescuers were unable to free the cat from the bin, according to a report on abc.net.au.
The stray ginger kitten’s head was poking out of the drain hole. The rescue team decided to name the kitten Brian, after the firefighter “who kept the kitten calm during the rescue.”
Little Brian had to be sedated and covered in olive oil before firefighters could safely pulled him from the pipe at the bottom of the dumpster. The tired and dehydrated kitten was taken to a vet for a check-up. Thanks to everyone who helped this little guy.
