The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that firefighters with the Clark County Fire Department saved a family and their cat from their burning home in Las Vegas, Nevada early Monday morning.

The photo above shows fire captain Tracy Thomas cradling the cat outside on the street. A woman and her four daughters were evacuated, along with the kitty.

The fire damaged the garage, attic and front part of the house and caused an estimated $40,000 worth of damage, but no one was hurt.
