Volunteer firefighters from Chester Township, New Jersey rescued a little kitten trapped underground in a storm drainpipe located beneath the middle of the road in the Chester Borough downtown area.

The rescuers were having no luck getting the kitten out from the pipe until one of them went off and came back with a long handled chimney brush. He went down into the drain and managed to get the kitten using the brush, fire chief Toby Drysdale told the Mendham-Chester Patch.
