Reports and video footage from a 5 alarm fire in Nashua, NH Monday night have been all over the Boston and New Hampshire news today. On video from the scene, massive flames can be seen coming through the roof of the main residential building involved in the fire, and are seen spreading outward from the top floor across a narrow space to the building next door, which also burned.

Thirty residents were displaced by the fire and it is uncertain whether they will be allowed to return to their apartments to try to find their belongings.

One positive story came out of the fire, when a kitten named Lucky was rescued by firefighters and brought to safety from the building at 64 W. Hollis St. In the photo here, firefighters hand Lucky to Angalia Dube and Robert “Smoky” Hall.
