Dearborn Heights, MI firefighters responded today when a motorist stopped and called them for help when he heard meowing coming from his car. Firefighters reached around under the hood and located the frightened baby, who they safely removed after removing a front tire. The kitten’s cries heard on video after the rescue are heart grabbing. One of the firefighters who assisted on the call has offered to adopt the kitten.

  1. Whatever about the adoption-the kitten needs to go to the vet Now. His poor little eyes are a mess and need looking at and care. But I hope the adoption offer will go through. Happy ending, so far!! Poor little baby.

  2. Bless people who care about the weak. Poor baby does need it’s eyes looked at really soon. I like this site but don’t appreciate having to sit through a commercial before seeing the post.

  3. Yes, PLEASE get him to a vet asap. This kitten is very sick. He survived so much it would be sad to lose him now.
