A hardworking cat at the Huddersfield Railway Station in West Yorkshire, England has been given a promotion.

Felix has captured mice and entertained travelers at the station for the past five years. She was donated by a worker at the station, and took her job of chasing mice quite seriously. Felix was just nine weeks old when she started working at the station, but has since become a favorite of station workers and passengers, alike. She even has her own cat door in the ticket offices. Felix lives at the station full-time, but goes home with one of the employees for Christmas.

All of Felix’s hard work has paid off – she has been officially named the Senior Pest Controller of the station. With the promotion, Felix received her own special jacket and name tag.

If you want to keep up with Felix, then be sure to check out her Facebook page, which already has over 2,000 followers. The page is full of photos, and Felix narrates it in her own voice.

Felix is proof that hard work does pay off.
