Daniel Wassom II lost his life shielding his wife and children from the April 27, 2014 tornado in Vilonia, Arkansas. Today, his father, Daniel Wassom Sr., visited the site where the family’s home once stood. Mr. Wassom Sr. spoke to a WFAA news crew about his son and shared some meaningful mementos. The family’s cat was found cowering in the rubble while the news crew was on hand.
