A tiny stray kitten introduced herself to a Detroit television reporter and became a Monday morning hit on social media. The kitten, Lucky Seven, ran up to Nima Shaffe, a reporter and anchor at WXYZ-TV Channel 7, who was filming a live shot in the parking lot at the county sheriff’s office.
Shaffe was instantly smitten with the outgoing orange-and-white kitten, who was very vocal and squirmy. “She likes to talk,” Shaffe told Buzzfeed. “She likes to tell people her life story.”
A female officer with the sheriff’s department came to collect the kitten, which is being looked after by the Humane Society of Huron Valley. “First she has to go to foster care to gain some weight before they can microchip her and give her some more TLC,” Shaffe told Buzzfeed. “So it could be anywhere from a month or two before she’s available for adoption.” Shaffe said he’s thinking about making their friendship longterm and adopting Lucky Seven.
I use to watch wxyz when i lived in the detroit area, glad you huys are still in business.
