When the Tuttle family’s cat, Raja, disappeared from their Florida home three years ago, after endless searching, they assumed the Bengal mix had been stolen…or worse. Then a miracle happened.

After a man brought in the found cat to Georgetown campus of the Brandywine Valley SPCA, staff found the microchip that showed Raja’s identity.  After some good detective work, the found the Tuttles who had since moved to Virginia.

“This is certainly one of the most amazing reunifications I’ve experienced – a Christmas miracle,” Walt Fenstermacher, Director of Operations at the Georgetown Campus told Delaware Online.

This most certainly made for a Merry Christmas, indeed.

  1. This is a great story. Microchips work! Although mine was only missing nine months, without the microchip we never would have been reunited.
