When California Highway Patrol officers were alerted to a kitten on the lanes of the busy Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, they weren’t going to give up easily in finding the young feline.

After an initial pass, they set out again, this time seeing a little furry head popping up from inside a barrier.

The determined officers closed off the lanes, retrieved the kitten, and got him safely into a patrol car, then took him to VCA Madera Pet Hospital to get checked out.  After a bath and exam, the kitten, who didn’t have either a collar or microchip, was given to Officer Matt Smith who wants to find “Bridges,” a good home.
