Layaway the Chihuahua adopts Holler the kitten and teaches him a thing or two about being a puppy. Though she takes her duties to heart, Layaway will foster Holler until he is ready to go to his forever home.
Layaway’s petmom Jillanne Rodman of Grand Rapids, MI rescued little Holler from a garage in her neighborhood and brought the kitten into her pet filled household for care until he is big enough to go the forever home that awaits him. The woman was surprised when her dog Layaway appointed herself as Holler’s mama, and was even more surprised to see the kitten show behaviors associated more with puppies than kittens.
As we have seen in other cases of dogs adopting kittens or cats adopting puppies, Layaway ia said to be completely devoted to her little charge. Jillian say that Layaway even began lactating despite never having puppies.
The video here shows mama and baby, with Holler behaving as any baby would, regardless of whether they were a puppy or a kitten, loving and climbing on his foster mama.
