Staff from the Animal Rescue League of Boston saved a litter of kittens trapped in the rafters above a ceiling in a Dorchester home today. ARL rescue techs think Mama kitty squeezed through a hole in the roof and had her kittens in the building’s attic. Resident Shanae Lawson heard the pitter patter of little paws for several days, then she heard a “Meow”.
Shanae and her cousin managed to capture one of the kittens, who they named Oreo, on Thursday. ARL caught two more today. The kittens are at the shelter.
