Vancouver’s cats are going digital as they search for true love on Tinder. Watch as they catfish unsuspecting users in the cute new campaign that raises awareness and helps find homes for homeless cats

VOKRA, the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, rescues, fosters and rehomes homeless cats and kittens in Vancouver, BC, and the highly dedicated group of volunteers say they’ve hit on a fun, new and successful way to match pets and petparents.

Huffpost BC covered the phenomenon in a recent short feature, and writes: “Tinder, the app that matches users based solely on their appearance, was commandeered by the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) to help find fur-ever homes for their kittens — and to wild success.”

The idea for the group’s novel approach to community outreach comes from  ad agency ReThink Canada, according to the Huffington Post.

The cats are featured at Tinder in photos where they join some very attractive humans.
